Dayzee is an exciting recruit to our Racing Club VIP Syndicate program, having won three of her six races at her previous yard and going close in two of her three runs since joining Newlands yard. We’re eagerly looking forward to watching her career flourish now she’s part of our Racing Club VIP team.
The four-year-old put in a career best performance to win at Salisbury on her turf debut back in June, in a race that has seen the form work out nicely since. Both the runner-up and third home both won next time out and are now rated much higher, which certainly bodes well for the future of Dayzee.
One of her most recent runs saw her contest the £100,000 Winter Oaks Trial at Lingfield, which saw her outrun her 33/1 odds to finish an admirable third. She did best of those to be ridden prominently, with both the winner and runner-up towards the rear of the field for the majority of the race.
She has an impressive pedigree, having been sired by multiple Group 1 winner Mastercraftsman. Since being sent to stud, he’s sired the likes of Alpha Centauri (four-time Group 1 winner), The Grey Gatsby (two-time Group 1 winner) and St Leger Stakes winner Kingston Hill.
Dayzee has settled in well at Newlands and is already training well, with her trainer confident she will be back in the winners enclosure again soon. She’s certainly one we’re excited about, and we’re looking forward to seeing her career flourish in the VIP RC silks!
