Farceur Du Large is an 8 year old gelding by Turgeon out of a winning French dam, from a good staying pedigree. This three-time winning gelding looks tailor made for longer distances where his stamina will come to the fore, and he won a decent staying handicap chase at Punchestown last season off a mark of 130.

He was 3rd in a Listed bumper on his racecourse debut, and although he never won a bumper he was placed in another. He won over hurdles too, but it was only really when he was sent over fences did he really begin to excel. He won a novice chase at Fairyhouse over 2m5, and then won a competitive class 2 handicap off a mark of 130, and was put up to 136.

Farceur Du Large will be aimed at some of the most prestigious races in the armed forces racing calendar including the Grand Military Gold Cup at Sandown Park, and as such this is a great syndicate for service personnel and military veterans, as well as jump racing enthusiasts.
