How Racing Club Works

Browse our available horses via the ‘Our Horses’ menu, select the horse that best suits your needs, catches your eye or the one with your favourite name. Once your purchase is confirmed you will receive a share certificate and welcome pack via email, or a Printed Welcome Pack for an additional £4.99 per horse which includes a Welcome Brochure, Share Certificate, Photograph and Pedigree Tree of your selected horse(s).

The one off payment for your share covers all costs for the stated fixed term of the syndicate. These are all-inclusive, fixed fees that cover the initial purchase of the horse, training fees and miscellaneous expenses such as vet fees, transport, race entries, jockey fees etc. There are no hidden costs! If you choose to renew for a second term, the price you pay will be significantly lower as the purchase cost of the horse is already covered.

By buying a share through RC Syndicates, you will receive behind the scenes content and regular updates. This will keep you at the centre of your horse’s progress and fully integrated with the journey through training and on to days at the races!

Enjoy exclusive events that set us apart from other horse racing syndicates. We own our very own yard in Lambourn, as well as hospitality facilities at The O2, Wembley and various football clubs around the UK. We’ll hold member ballots for different events throughout the year.

We are very excited to welcome all of our owners along to yard visits to meet our horses. Its a great opportunity to get to know like minded people with similar interest and passion for horse racing. Ahead of race days we will hold ballots for the allocated owners badges. The number of badges is limited by the racecourses but we will always try to enable as many people as possible to join us on a race day.

If you’re not able to join us on race day, don’t worry! Stay in the loop with live updates from jockey and trainer all day long. Watch the race for free and experience the thrill of your horse running no matter where you are.

Your RC Syndicate horse will have a set syndicate term. This will be detailed on the specific horse page on our website and also within your confirmation email. Towards the end of the term, you will receive a report from the trainer, specifying the horse’s prospects going forward and a recommendation on whether we believe the horse should continue into a further term. This will allow plenty of time for everyone to renew their share. The renewal price will be cheaper than the price paid to purchase the initial share(s), as you will have already covered the cost of your share of the capital of the horse. Therefore, the renewal price just includes the ongoing racing fees, training costs, management fees and a little extra to ensure the horse has a fund for rehoming or retirement at the end of their racing career. There are no hidden extras for you to pay after your initial share purchase or the renewal fee.
