Memorable Weekend For Racing Club

Last weekend was a fantastic one for everyone involved with Racing Club , with two winners and two places across four courses and two sports!

Brosay
The star of the weekend was undoubtedly one of our Racing Club VIP horses. Brosay backed up his Windsor victory with a brilliant success in the competitive six-furlong handicap at Ascot on Saturday.

Drawn in stall eight  facing eighteen rivals, Brosay was sent off at  9/1 and was sluggish out of the stalls.Jockey Harry Davies gave him a powerful ride on the wing of the large field and gradually moved him into contention as the race unfolded. The strong early tempo set by the front-runners proved ideal for our strong-staying Brosay who stuck to the task gamely to sweep down the outside to win by a length from Jubilee Walk.

It was another special day for Brosay’s owners and we are sure there will be more to come!

Shares in Brosay are now SOLD OUT.

Magic Runner

On her first start for Racing Club and Ruth Carr, Magic Runner ran a huge race at Wolverhampton , finishing a neck second over a distance of one mile, one and a half furlongs on Saturday.

Sent off at 10/1 in a field of ten, Magic Runner broke smartly from stall six and settled into a handy position in third, travelling comfortably along the inside rail under Billy Garritty. As the tempo lifted three furlongs from home, she responded well to stay in contention and stuck on gamely in the closing stages, just denied by a neck at the line.

This was a hugely promising performance , one that suggests Magic will be in the winners’ enclosure before long!

Brodie’s Boy

Brodie’s Boy produced a determined effort to finish third over a mile and four furlongs at Kempton on Friday, 5th September, a performance that indicates a handicap of this nature is well within his scope.

Sent off at 13/2, he broke well but raced a touch keenly in the early stages. Jockey Jason Watson managed to settle him into a midfield position, but as the pace increased, Brodie’s Boy lost ground and slipped towards the rear. Under strong riding, he showed a willing attitude, rallying gamely in the closing stages to finish strongly, just two and a half lengths behind the winner in a creditable third.

This marked a significant step in the right direction for Brodie’s Boy and he should give his owners plenty of good days on the course!

Shares are still available in Brodie’s Boy for just £55 per share HERE.

No Saddle

The second winner of the weekend was our racing Club greyhound . No Saddle won the 20:57 at Towcester on Saturday, a Class D2 contest over 270m.

No saddle was housed in trap two and faced four rivals.  He asserted nicely to win at 15/8, beating Fabulous Hana by half a length.

This rounded off a memorable weekend for Racing Club and we are certain plenty more success will follow!

Shares in No Saddle are now SOLD OUT.
