Charlie developed a passion for horses at a young age through show jumping and hunting. It didn’t take him long to show an interest in horse racing and that prompted him to take his first job at local trainer Jimmy Fox’s stable. He has extensive riding experience and has worked with some of the leading trainers in British racing including Richard Hannon and Jamie Snowden. Having been assistant trainer to Paul Attwater, he now has the experience and expertise required to be a full time trainer and received his official license from the BHA in December 2025.
