Bueno Nacho is an exciting three-year-old gelding in training with Paul Attwater in Upper Lambourn. After making a promising debut at Newmarket in August, he disappointed at York when stepped up in class, but put in a much more assured performance at Newcastle when last seen. We’re confident that he will have a big future ahead of him!
Bueno was purchased for £95,000 at the Goffs Premier Yearlings Sale in 2023 by bloodstock agent Richard Venn, who was immediately impressed with him at the sales and believed he would be a useful asset to the Racing Club VIP team. He made an instant impact at Newlands, and Paul, Charlie and the team have high hopes for him, having notably entered him in the Harry’s Half Million By Goffs Premier Yearling Stakes – a race with over £500,000 in prize money available.
He has an impressive pedigree, having been sired by the top-class sprinter Profitable, who won a trio of Group races as a four-year-old, including the Group 1 King’s Stand Stakes. Bueno’s dam Tooreen was also a winner over the minimum distance herself too, so he certainly has speed in his pedigree! He has plenty of winners in his family too, being the half-brother to five winners, so we’re adamant he will be joining them in the winners’ enclosure soon.
With a striking pedigree and a solid first season under his belt, we cannot wait to watch Bueno Nacho progress in 2025 – fingers crossed we have a star on our hands!
