What to Wear?

While there is no official dress code to attend Beverley Racecourse, the racecourse does provide suggestions and request that guests dress appropriate for their enclosure.

Premier Enclosure

This is the luxury experience, so you should dress for the occasion! While the enclosure permits tailored shorts and t-shirts, the racecourse asks that you do your best to dress smart. Also sportswear and fancy dress are prohibited outside of specific events.

Grandstand & Paddock

This enclosure varies from event to event, with guests dressed to the nines on big race days and more relaxed attire during the quieter events. Do your best to dress well, but prioritise comfort and enjoyment. Just be sure to dress respectfully.

Course Enclosure

As the most relaxed area of the course, the only guide is to dress comfortably — enjoying yourself is paramount. Just be aware that clothing regarded as vulgar may be turned away.

Should you still have any doubts about what to wear to the race day you’re attending, check out our guide to “What to Wear to the Races.
