How to Get to Nottingham Racecourse

Arriving by Car

Travelling from the north: Follow the A60 or A612 towards Nottingham.

Travelling from the south: Follow the A60 or A453 towards Nottingham.

Travelling from the east or west: Follow the A52 towards Nottingham.

Once you reach Nottingham, follow the brown tourist signs or the yellow park-and-ride signs directing you towards the racecourse.

Nottingham Racecourse has ample free on-site parking, including parking for coaches and minibuses. Free preferential parking is also available close to the entrances for Blue Badge holders, although spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Arriving by Train

Nottingham Station is approximately two miles from the racecourse. A taxi rank is available outside the station, and the journey to the racecourse normally takes around 10–15 minutes.

Arriving by Bus

The number 44 bus travels from King Street in Nottingham city centre. Visitors can also use the Ecolink service, which stops on Parliament Street and Collins Street.

The park-and-ride facility is situated next to Nottingham Racecourse, making the course easily accessible by public transport.

Where to Get Tickets

Premier Enclosure

The Premier Enclosure is only available on Ladies Day. It offers superior views of the racing together with access to premium bars, dining options and additional facilities.

Premier racegoers can enjoy access to the Centenary Suite bar and balcony, the Robin Hood Bar and the private Premier Lawn. Capacity is limited, so advance booking is recommended.

Sherwoods Restaurant

Sherwoods Restaurant is located on the second floor of the Grandstand and provides panoramic views across the racecourse. Dining packages should be booked in advance as availability can be limited.
