How to Get to Warwick Racecourse
Arriving by Car
Warwick Racecourse is situated close to a number of major roads, including the M40, M42, M5 and M6. Visitors travelling on the M40 should leave at Junction 15 and follow signs towards Warwick.
The racecourse is located on Hampton Street, just off the A429 as you enter Warwick from Junction 15 of the M40.
Coach and car parking is available free of charge in the racecourse’s on-site raceday car parks. Vehicles cannot be left at the racecourse overnight following racing.
Accessible parking is available close to the entrance of the Main Enclosure. Visitors should display a valid Blue Badge and follow the directions provided by the racecourse stewards.
Arriving by Train
Warwick Racecourse is served by both Warwick and Warwick Parkway railway stations. Both stations are on the Chiltern line, which operates between London Marylebone and Birmingham Snow Hill.
Warwick railway station is approximately one mile from the racecourse and around a 20-minute walk away. Warwick Parkway is situated on the outskirts of the town and is a short taxi journey from the course.
Arriving by Bus
Several regular Stagecoach services connect Warwick with surrounding towns and transport hubs. Services operating through the area include:

Where to Get Tickets
Tickets for Warwick Racecourse can be purchased online before your visit. Booking in advance is recommended, as this normally provides the best available price and can make entry to the course quicker on the day.
Walk-up tickets may also be available from the racecourse’s ticket-selling points, provided the fixture has not sold out. Visitors should check the information for their chosen raceday before travelling.
Children aged 17 and under receive free admission to Warwick Racecourse, although they must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Child tickets should be added when booking the accompanying adult’s tickets.

Main Enclosure

Racegoers can visit the pre-parade ring, parade ring and winners’ enclosure, as well as watch the racing from the covered tiered grandstand. The enclosure offers views of the finishing straight and winning post, with the main betting ring located nearby.

Centre Course Enclosure

This enclosure includes an outdoor tiered grandstand with an elevated view of the finish line, along with food outlets, bars, betting facilities and live entertainment where advertised.
Visitors should note that Centre Course Enclosure ticket holders cannot cross the track to enter the Main Enclosure. This means they will not have access to the parade ring or the Main Enclosure’s indoor facilities.

What to Wear
Warwick Racecourse encourages visitors to “dress to feel your best”. There is no need to follow an overly formal dress code, and racegoers are encouraged to choose an outfit that makes them feel comfortable and confident.
This could mean wearing a smart sweatshirt, jeans and clean trainers, or choosing a suit, dress and formal footwear for one of the course’s larger meetings. Visitors should also check the weather forecast and select suitable clothing and footwear for spending time outdoors.
Fancy dress may be permitted, but clothing considered offensive, inappropriate or derogatory may result in admission being refused. Visitors are also asked not to wear football shirts or other team kits.

Food and Drink

Visitors are not normally permitted to bring their own food or drink into the racecourse. An exception may be made for selected family fixtures when the Centre Course Lawn Enclosure is open and picnics are specifically permitted.

Westgate Bar and Food Hall
The Westgate Bar and Food Hall is situated on the first floor of the Main Grandstand. The Food Market offers a selection of hot food, sandwiches, wraps, sweet treats, tea and coffee.

Scudamore Bar
