Brodie’s Boy Makes A Pleasing Return To Action At Nottingham – Race Report

Brodie’s Boy made a pleasing return to action at Nottingham on Wednesday, travelling well throughout the race before tiring towards the end, in his first race back after six months off.

Having jumped well out of the stalls, Brodie’s was quick to get to the front and set the early pace. Having run keenly throughout, he found himself in with every chance with around two furlongs to go, but after being bumped in the run-in and beginning to tire, he finished in sixth place.

Trainer Paul Attwater reported the following morning:

“Brodie’s Boy is absolutely fine this morning and we were pleased with his effort at Nottingham. The jockey feels he’s ahead of his handicap mark and we’re inclined to agree, so we’re looking forward to getting him back out to enjoy an all-weather campaign over the winter.”

With that run under his belt, we can’t wait to see Brodie’s Boy come on for the run and we’re already looking forward to his next race!
