Horse Updates 19/06/25

Wendigo continues to enjoy his well-deserved summer break, before going Novice Chasing next season. 

Handlethekettle put in a fantastic performance on his return to hurdles to win at Worcester on Wednesday. He’ll have an easy few days now, before getting back into his routine next week.

A Path To Ronda is enjoying her well-deserved summer break before returning to Jamie’s to go Novice Hurdling next season. 

Jukebox King continues to enjoy some time in the field before returning to Kim Bailey’s & Matt Nicholls’ yard ahead of going Novice Hurdling next season. 

Legendary Luke is enjoying his time in the field and trainer Jamie Snowden is excited to get him back in the yard to prepare him for the 25/26 National Hunt season.

Brodie’s Boy continues to please with his work at home and is due to run next week in a charity race at Newbury, with Newlands staff member Steve Harris set to ride.

Blackwaterfoot is now back in full training, with trainer Paul Attwater reporting he is back in his normal routine.

Unknown Journey was dropped 2lbs by the handicapper after his last race and Tony Carroll has entered him to race at Kempton next week.

Love You Millions was withdrawn from her race at Lingfield on Wednesday, after getting upset in the stalls. She’s perfectly fine in herself and is none the worse for the experience.

Lucky Luna continues to please trainer Richard Hannon with her progress and he remains positive she will have a productive campaign this season once she starts racing.

Rory’s Gold is going well at home and is set to run at Kempton in early July, having found suitable turf opportunities hard to come by due to the ground.

Redbud Sixteen has suffered a small setback after having a dirty tracheal wash earlier this week. This should clear up quickly and after a course of antibiotics she’ll be back in her normal routine soon.

Bosh Soldier had her second race at Chelmsford on Thursday, struggling to keep up with the pace to eventually finish eighth. She should come on for the experience, and trainer George Boughey feels we will see her in a much better light once she gets her handicap mark.
