Horse Updates 26/09/25

Wendigo continues to please with his schooling and faster work – he should be ready to make his chase debut in the next few weeks.

Handlethekettle continues on his road to recovery from injury and is due to return in Spring 2026.

A Path To Ronda did her first bit of speed work earlier in the week and schooled well on Wednesday. She should be ready to run in the coming weeks.  

Jukebox King is building up his fitness ahead of his exciting Novice Hurdle campaign in the 25/26 jumps season. He has had his wind tinkered with recently and a soft palate cautery to help his breathing. He has been back working this week and continues to go well.

Legendary Luke schooled well over hurdles this week and is now into faster work. He should be set to make his racecourse debut in the coming weeks.

Brodie’s Boy has been declared to run at Epsom on Sunday – fingers crossed for a big performance!

Blackwaterfoot is moving well and is happy in himself after his race at Wolverhampton. He went for a walk and trot round the village on Thursday.

Unknown Journey was not declared for the race at Lingfield , with Tony opting to look for more suitable options.

Love You Millions has been in good form at home and has an entry for Kempton on Wednesday 1st October . 6f  Get Best Odds Guaranteed At Unibet Handicap  (Class 6) (3yo+ 0-55)

Lucky Luna is still suffering a slight issue with her knees, but trainer Richard Hannon has a plan and is keen to see her make her debut in the next couple of months.

Rory’s Gold is making good progress in his recovery, he looks well and is happy getting out twice a day on the walker.

Redbud Sixteen ran another good race for third at Lingfield on Tuesday 23rd September and has come out of the race well.

Bosh Soldier has now recovered from her injury and trainer George Boughey is now working on building her fitness before returning her to the racecourse in the near future. Owners should receive an update on race plans for her over the weekend.

Lord d’Or has been examined by the vet and the fracture line is still visible. Unfortunately this means he will require a period of box rest.

Karthon has come out of his recent Kempton race in good order and has had his back medicated to loosen him up and help his movement . He may be entered at Brighton on the 29th.

Magic Runner was an unlucky fifth at Wolverhampton on Monday 22nd September. She has come out of the race well and Ruth will be looking at races for her in a few weeks time.
