Horse Updates 14/08/25

Wendigo continues to build up his fitness at Jamie Snowden’s, ahead of an exciting Novice Chase campaign in the 25/26 National Hunt season.

Handlethekettle is starting his recovery from injury and is due to return in Spring 2026.

A Path To Ronda continues to work on building her fitness back up before going Novice Hurdling in the 25/26 season.

Jukebox King met plenty of his owners on a stable visit earlier this week, and continues to build up his fitness ahead of his exciting Novice Hurdle campaign in the 25/26 jumps season.

Legendary Luke is currently building his fitness up ahead of the 25/26 jump season, where he is expected to run in one bumper before going Novice Hurdling.

Brodie’s Boy is in good order at home and trainer Tony Carroll is just waiting for suitable ground conditions for him, with alternative all-weather options if the ground doesn’t go in his favour.

Blackwaterfoot is recovering from lameness and should be back in training soon – owners will receive an update on his recovery as soon as we receive an update from the Newlands team.

Unknown Journey is entered to run at Brighton next week, with owners set to receive an update on this on Sunday.

Love You Millions has returned to Newlands after spending some time at Craig Witheford’s to work on her stalls nervousness. She has returned now and is already much calmer in the stalls.

Lucky Luna has suffered a minor setback, but once she has recovered trainer Richard Hannon is keen to see her make her debut in September/October time.

Rory’s Gold is currently recovering from an injury, but is making good progress.

Redbud Sixteen is entered to race at Southwell on Sunday (correct at time of writing), with owners set to receive an update on this on Friday.

Bosh Soldier is making good progress in her recovery from her cut on her leg, and will be back in full training once the cut is fully healed.

Lord d’Or has come out of his Kempton race in good order, and trainer Andrew Balding is currently assessing options for his next race.

Karthon is entered to race at Kempton next week, with owners set to receive an update on this on Sunday.
