Wendigo is back into some light catering and is looking and moving well. Jamie Snowden will see how he is and assess the ground, with the three mile and one furlong Mildmay Novices’ Chase at Aintree an option.
Handlethekettle is very well, his leg is fine and the latest scan went well. He will start back in light work very soon and be aimed at Chepstow’s valuable Silver Trophy in October.
A Path To Ronda is sharpening up for her big target on Easter Sunday at Fairyhouse, 2m 4f Irish Stallion Farms EBF Honeysuckle Mares Novice Hurdle (Grade 1).
Jukebox King ran a nice race for fourth at Warwick on the 8th March and has come out of the race well. He is entered at Wincanton on the 1st April.
Legendary Luke was not declared for Ascot as the ground will be too quick. Jamie Snowden is considering running him at Aintree in the Sefton, a Grade 1 Novices’ Hurdle over three miles and half a furlong.
Pigeon Forge ran very well on her hurdles debut on the 7th March, jumping smoothly. She got outpaced but kept on well for fifth. She has come out of the race well and will hopefully head to Plumpton on the 5th April for a mares’ maiden hurdle.
Brodie’s Boy ran on strongly from the rear at Kempton on his first run back from a wind operation. Unfortunately he has a bruised foot but should improve with time.
Blackwaterfoot is working well and Charlie is looking ahead for some targets on the turf for him. He has been doing some stalls work in preparation for his return to action.
Unknown Journey has come out of his Kempton race well. He was taken on for the lead and raced too keenly, so couldn’t finish out his race. Tony Carroll will look for options at Lingfield which suits him best.
Love Always is progressing and maturing well. She has enjoyed cantering on the grass in the last couple of weeks.
Victory Max has been working and learning well in his first couple of months at Highfield Stables. As with the majority of his two year olds, Harry Eustace will give him a few weeks off before bringing him back into full work and gearing him up for his debut.
Lucky Luna is moving well and is into some faster work now. All being well, she should be able to make her debut in around four weeks time.
From Me To You is taking his work very well and is in a good place mentally. He should be able to make his debut in the next 3-6 weeks.
Redbud Sixteen is working very nicely. She is being aimed at a Kempton race on the 6th April and Charlie Pike is looking forward to the season ahead with her.
Bosh Soldier is entered to run at Kempton on Monday 30th. Tony Carroll is looking forward to seeing her and has been pleased with her at home.
Lord d’Or is progressing well and Andrew Balding is very pleased with him. His work is being gradually increased and he is on track to run at the start of the turf season in a maiden.
Karthon is very fresh and well. He is progressing nicely and looks likely to have an all-weather run before going jumping on good ground.
Magic Runner was unfortunate to be given the widest stall at Lingfield and had to race wide for most of the race. With a relatively strong pace, she tired in the straight and finished tenth.
