Wendigo has had an easy week after his impressive Ayr win. He will now slot back into his cantering routine to build up to the Brown Advisory at Cheltenham.
Handlethekettle has enjoyed his time in the field and will begin some light work in the next few days to build towards a return to the track.
A Path To Ronda has come out of her race at Warwick well. Jamie was very pleased with her effort and she will be aimed at the Grade 1 Honeysuckle Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle at Fairyhouse on the 5th April.
Jukebox King showed plenty of promise on his second start under rules at Market Rasen on Sunday 1st February, jumping well throughout before eventually finishing fourth. He has come out of the race well. He has received a mark of 110, which seems workable based on the strength of the races he has been competing in.
Legendary Luke He looks in great order and has been schooling well. He now steps into competitive Grade 2 company at Haydock tomorrow, on ground and over a trip that should suit him well.
Pigeon Forge has been jumping nicely at home and is ready to make her hurdling debut when we get some better ground. She enjoyed seeing some of her owners at the stable visit on Wednesday.
Brodie’s Boy has come out of his Southwell race well and Tony is looking ahead for his next race, with a potential option at Wolverhampton on the 16th.
Blackwaterfoot is fresh, happy and enjoying his cantering as he builds up to the new flat turf season.
Unknown Journey has come out of his Lingfield race in good order. Tony is looking for a suitable next option for him.
Love You Millions is comfortable and walking well. The vet is happy with her and hopefully she can return home to Danebury in the next week.
Lucky Luna has been reassessed and is now back under saddle. Hopefully she can put her issues behind her and build up to debut at Newbury in April.
From Me To You is impressing Richard and the team with his work. Richard believes he is strong and knowledgeable enough to make his debut early in the season. He has an early entry for a valuable £500,000 contest at York in August.
Rory’s Gold is still cantering nicely and the pace of his work is gradually being increased. The vet will scan him again next week and hopefully this will be his final assessment.
Redbud Sixteen is cantering nicely and her work is being gradually increased. She is taking her work well and the team are pleased with her.
Bosh Soldier travelled well through the race at Chelmsford but couldn’t quicken and faded late. She has come out of the race well and Tony believes he can find an easier option for her next.
Lord d’Or is progressing well and Andrew Balding is very pleased with him. His work will be increased next week and the Kingsclere team are hopeful he will be ready for the upcoming flat season.
Karthon continues to progress well as his fitness improves. Emma is thinking about an all-weather run in April before he begins his hurdling career on better ground at the end of the spring and into the summer.
Magic Runner ran another good race from a bad draw at Wolverhampton on the 2nd. She finished a close fifth and has come out of the race well. She has been declared to run at the same venue on Monday 16th.
