Wendigo is ok after his fall, a little stiff and sore but nothing too worrying. He will have some physio and an easy time of things.
Handlethekettle is very well, his leg is fine and the latest scan went well. He will start back in work in April and be aimed at Chepstow’s valuable Silver Trophy in October.
A Path To Ronda is back into her cantering routine and will build up to her Grade 1 Fairyhouse target on Easter Sunday.
Jukebox King ran a nice race for fourth at Warwick on the 8th March and has come out of the race well.
Legendary Luke has slotted back into his cantering routine and is in good order. He will be tried in a handicap next, with his final run of the season afterwards in a novice before we look forward to him as a novice chaser next season.
Pigeon Forge ran very well on her hurdles debut on the 7th March, jumping smoothly. She got outpaced but kept on well for fifth. She has come out of the race well.
Brodie’s Boy has had a wind operation, which Tony expects will help him finish his races stronger. He is recovering well and has an entry at Kempton on the 18th.
Blackwaterfoot is fresh, happy and enjoying his cantering as he builds up to the new flat turf season.
Unknown Journey has come out of his Wolverhampton race well. The track didn’t seem to suit him and he will be found an option at his favoured Lingfield or possibly Kempton.
Love You Millions is comfortable and walking well twice a day. We are in the process of finding her a nice new home.
Lucky Luna has been reassessed and is now back under saddle. The vet is pleased with her progress and, if she continues on this trajectory, Richard and the team can begin to step up her work and start preparing her for a spring return, possibly at Newbury’s April meeting.
From Me To You is impressing Richard and the team with his work. Richard believes he is strong and knowledgeable enough to make his debut early in the season. He has received two more exciting big race entries: the Weatherbys Super Sprint Stakes at Newbury in July, worth £135,218 to the winner, and the Weatherbys Scientific £300,000 2-Y-O Stakes at Doncaster, worth £147,540 to the winner.
Redbud Sixteen is working very nicely and the team are pleased. She will build up to run next month.
Bosh Soldier improved to finish seventh at Kempton, everybody was pleased and she is expected to continue progressing as she matures. She is entered at Wolverhampton on the 16th.
Lord d’Or is progressing well and Andrew Balding is very pleased with him. His work is being gradually increased and he is on track to run at the start of the turf season in a maiden.
Karthon continues to progress well as his fitness improves. Emma is thinking about an all-weather run in April before he begins his hurdling career on better ground at the end of the spring and into the summer.
Magic Runner wasn’t suited by the pace of the race at Wolverhampton on Tuesday. She has come out of the race well.
