Horse Updates 30/10/25

Wendigo‘s slight issue has recovered well and we look forward to seeing him back over fences again in the next few weeks.

Handlethekettle continues to progress in his rehab, with trainer Jamie Snowden hopeful to have him back in light work in the new year.

A Path To Ronda ran out an impressive winner on hurdles debut at Stratford on Thursday, and trainer Jamie Snowden will now plan for her next race, with the Jane Seymour Novices’ Hurdle at Sandown looking a possible future target for her.

Jukebox King continues to build up his fitness, with the aim of seeing him make his hurdles debut in November.

Legendary Luke came out of his race at Worcester in good order and trainer Jamie Snowden is now deciding whether to give him another run in a bumper or send him novice hurdling.

Brodie’s Boy put in an excellent effort to finish runner-up at Wolverhampton on Monday, and trainer Tony Carroll is keen to see him back in action in the coming weeks.

Blackwaterfoot has come out of his race at Nottingham last week in good order and has been pleasing the team at Newlands with his work since.

Unknown Journey came out of his race at Southwell last week well and trainer Tony Carroll has entered him to run at Lingfield on Tuesday 4th November.

Love You Millions is set to enjoy a short break in the field, having been in training throughout 2025.

Lucky Luna remains on walking exercise, with trainer Richard Hannon debating whether to give her a break over the winter to allow her to fully recover from her issues.

From Me To You continues to build up his fitness, ahead of an exciting flat campaign in 2026.

Rory’s Gold continues to make good progress in his recovery and the Newlands team are pleased to have him back out in light work.

Redbud Sixteen has had a good start to her career and will now enjoy a break over the winter.

Bosh Soldier continues to recover from his fetlock injury, with trainer George Boughey pleased with the progress she is making in recovery. Fingers crossed it won’t be long until she’s back on the racecourse.

Lord d’Or continues to recover from his fracture, which hasn’t healed as well as hoped, but the recovery will take time. Trainer Andrew Balding will give him the time he needs to fully recover, with the horse’s welfare the chief factor to consider.

Karthon is currently recovering from a small tear of his suspensory ligament, which doesn’t appear to be a long term issue. Owners will receive an update as soon as the Kingsclere team provide us with one.

Magic Runner disappointed from a wide draw at Wolverhampton last weekend, but is entered to race there again on Tuesday 4th November, having been dropped 3lbs by the handicapper since that last run.
