Wendigois in great order. Unfortunately, Aintree was abandoned last weekend, which would have provided a nice preparation for his early-season target, the Coral Gold Cup at Newbury. With the ground too quick at Wetherby, he is now declared for Carlisle on Sunday 1st November.
Handlethekettle has been declared to run in the 14:25 at Wetherby on Friday 30th October and looks to have an excellent chance with Gavin Sheehan in the saddle.
A Path To Ronda is in tip-top form and will be doing more cantering work over the next week before moving on to some faster work, with the aim of making her chasing debut towards the end of November or in December.
Jukebox King has been schooling beautifully and looks great as he builds towards his chasing debut this autumn. He is declared at Worcester on Sunday 1st November.
Legendary Luke has come out of his race at Ffos Las in good order. Things didn’t go his way on Thursday, but we know he is much better than he showed on that occasion and can hopefully look forward to a much-improved performance next time.
Pigeon Forge was unfortunately unable to run at Huntingdon due to the ground being too quick, and with Wincanton’s meeting also cancelled, we are now looking for another suitable option for her return.
Stepanov ran very well in what was a messy race on RC debut at Hereford. He travelled into it nicely but was too keen early on and faded late. He will come on plenty for that experience and looks to have a nice future ahead of him. He has come out of the race in good order and could return to action soon.
Changing Lanes has been impressing with his work and schooling at home. Jamie hopes he will be ready for his hurdles debut in November. He is entered at Warwick on Tuesday 3rd November.
Love Always has come out of her Southwell race well. She has an option at Southwell on Thursday 5th November.
Victory Max continues to progress well and Harry is happy with him. He has several possible races for his debut in November, with the first at Wolverhampton on the 3rd.
Lucky Luna is working nicely and looks great. She will appreciate the easing of ground conditions and we should see her out soon, having been declared for the abandoned Newbury fixture on the 23rd. She is entered at Nottingham on Wednesday 4th November.
From Me To You won nicely at Wolverhampton last Friday with a good performance under Sean Levey. He ran with credit under a penalty at Southwell last night and should have plenty more to offer now he has got his head in front. He is a solid, well-built individual who can improve further following that first win.
Redbud Sixteen is doing well and was declared for the abandoned Newbury fixture on the 23rd. She has an option at Southwell on the 17th.
Lord d’Or has come out of his good Newmarket second well. He has been raised 5lb but remains one to be really excited about for top handicaps in the future. He could run in the November Handicap at Doncaster on the 7th November.
Magic Runner ran an excellent race to finish third at Southwell, staying on strongly over the longer trip despite meeting interference up the straight. It was a very positive performance, and another run at Wolverhampton is on the cards soon on the 3rd November.
Denby’s Dream is doing well and has an option on the 19th November at Lingfield.
Red Spirit is coming along nicely, and Andrew Balding has been very pleased with his work this week. A 1m novice at Lingfield on 22nd November is a possible target, although other options around that time will also be considered.
