Wendigo has returned from his holidays in great order and is enjoying some steady cantering.
Handlethekettle is in good form and is pleasing everyone with his work. Jamie has identified some possible races for him towards the end of August and early September.
A Path To Ronda has returned from her holidays and had started trotting nicely. Unfortunately, she was found to be slightly lame after a blackthorn became lodged in her foot. The thorn has now been removed and she is comfortable on box rest, with the hope of returning to light exercise next week.
Jukebox King has returned from his holidays in great order and is back trotting as he builds towards an autumn return to action.
Legendary Luke has returned from his holidays in great order and will progress from trotting to cantering in the coming days.
Pigeon Forge has returned from her holiday looking stronger, more mature and in fantastic condition. With the ground currently so quick and few suitable races available, she’ll be brought back gradually, with an autumn campaign in mind. The plan is for her to return to the racecourse in September.
Brodie’s Boy Unfortunately, has not shown the level of ability we had hoped for, and following discussions with Tony Carroll, it has been decided that he will be entered in the upcoming August Online Sales. Should he be sold, the proceeds will be distributed proportionately among all owners, and we wish him every success in his future career.
Blackwaterfoot enjoyed the charity race and has come out of it in good order. We will have to wait for some softer ground before we see him back on the racecourse and he has an option at Southwell on the 6th.
Love Always is progressing well and will be ready to debut in the first half of August. She will do some more stalls work and will start over five or six furlongs. Ollie Sangster will be looking for some suitable races for her soon.
Victory Max has been gelded to improve his attitude to work, having been a bit lethargic. Harry Eustace hopes he will have 2-4 runs this year.
Lucky Luna has come out of her Southwell race well and has an option at Ffos Las on the 4th.
From Me To You struggled to compete in the competitive Super Sprint at Newbury. He has come out of the race in good order and has an option at Nottingham on the 3rd.
Redbud Sixteen unfortunately couldn’t land the hat-trick at Doncaster on Friday 3rd July, but will now have an easy time of things and freshen up for her next race, which could be at Salisbury on the 12th.
Lord d’Or ran another good race for second behind a smart newcomer at Windsor. He has come out of the race well and could go for a valuable novice at Hamilton in a few weeks time or a race at Salisbury, both on the 21st.
Karthon suffered a slight setback with an injury to his near fore fetlock joint, and the decision has been made to retire him from racing. We will be looking to find him a forever home in the coming weeks. He has been enjoying some time relaxing in the field.
Magic Runner is declared to race at Doncaster on the 1st and we are looking forward to seeing her back in action.
Denby’s Dream has come out of her Windsor race well. Rossa Ryan suggested we should wait for some softer ground for her next run or go for an option on the all-weather.
Red Spirit has settled into life at Park House Stables well and the team are pleased with him.
