Wendigo has returned from his holidays in great order and is enjoying cantering.
Handlethekettle is in good form and is pleasing everyone with his work. His aim is the valuable handicap hurdle at Newton Abbot on Saturday 22nd August.
A Path To Ronda has returned from her holidays and has started trotting nicely. Unfortunately, she was found to be slightly lame after a blackthorn became lodged in her foot. The thorn has now been removed and she has returned to some walking exercises.
Jukebox King has returned from his holidays in great order and is back trotting as he builds towards an autumn return to action.
Legendary Luke has returned from his holidays in great order and is enjoying cantering.
Pigeon Forge has returned from her holiday looking stronger, more mature and in fantastic condition. With the ground currently so quick and few suitable races available, she’ll be brought back gradually, with an autumn campaign in mind. The plan is for her to return to the racecourse in September/October in 3m handicap hurdles.
Brodie’s Boy Unfortunately, has not shown the level of ability we had hoped for, and following discussions with Tony Carroll, it has been decided that he will be entered in the upcoming August Online Sales. Should he be sold, the proceeds will be distributed proportionately among all owners, and we wish him every success in his future career.
Blackwaterfoot unfortunately has a small wound in his foot so was made a non-runner for Southwell on Thursday 6th August. He is back doing some light exercise and seems bright and happy.
Love Always is progressing well and has been doing some nice faster work. She has an option for her debut at Bath on Wednesday 26th August.
Victory Max has returned to cantering and is looking very well. The gelding operation appears to have had a positive effect on his attitude, and he is showing more enthusiasm for his work. Harry is pleased with him.
Lucky Luna has come out of her Southwell race well. With the ground so quick at the moment, she will have a few easy weeks of reduced work to freshen her up for when we get some rain.
From Me To You found the competitive Super Sprint at Newbury a tough assignment, but has come out of the race in good order. He is declared to race in the 19:58 at Lingfield on Thursday 13th August.
Redbud Sixteen is in good order and has an option at Windsor on Monday 24th August. We could do with some rain for her as she was not declared at Salisbury due to the quick ground.
Lord d’Or ran another good race for second behind a smart newcomer at Windsor. He has come out of the race well and could go for a valuable novice at Hamilton in a few weeks time or a race at Salisbury, both on the 21st. He has settled back into his routine well and is working nicely.
Karthon suffered a slight setback with an injury to his near fore fetlock joint, and the decision has been made to retire him from racing. We will be looking to find him a forever home in the coming weeks. He has been enjoying some time relaxing in the field.
Magic Runner has come out of her race at Doncaster in good order. She is declared for the final race at Ripon on Saturday 15th August.
Denby’s Dream has come out of her Windsor race well. Rossa Ryan suggested we should wait for some softer ground for her next run or go for an option on the all-weather.
Red Spirit has settled into life at Park House Stables well, and the team are very pleased with him. He is cantering away nicely and is learning to focus and switch on to his work.
