Wendigo continues to build his fitness up ahead of the 26/27 National Hunt season, with trainer Jamie Snowden targeting last October/early November for his return to action.
Handlethekettle is in good form at home and is all systems go to head to Chepstow for the valuable Silver Trophy on Saturday 10th October.
A Path To Ronda is back in light canter work, and Jamie is building up her fitness now, with plans for her to make her chasing debut in Late November or early December – exciting times!
Jukebox King has been schooling well and the team are delighted with where he is fitness wise. He just needs some rain to come, for the ground to come up in his favour (as is the case with lots of the horses!).
Legendary Luke is cantering upsides now and will begin faster work over the coming days. Jamie is aiming to have him ready to make his Novice Chase debut next month all being well.
Pigeon Forge continues to impress with her work at home and trainer Emma Lavelle is delighted with her. Providing the ground comes up in her favour, it won’t be too long until she is back on the racecourse.
Stepanov continues to impress with his hurdles work, and trainer Emma Lavelle hopes to see him make his hurdles debut next month, with one option being Kempton in mid-October.
Changing Lanes looked fantastic at our recent visit to Jamie Snowden’s earlier this week, with Jamie even mentioning the Triumph Hurdle as a possible big-race target for him this season – exciting times await!
Love Always is set to make her second career start at Southwell on Saturday, where trainer Ollie Sangster is keen to give her further racecourse experience.
Victory Max continues to build up his fitness, and trainer Harry Eustace is hopeful he can be ready to make his debut in the coming weeks.
Lucky Luna continues to work well at home and Richard Hannon has entered her to run at Bath on Tuesday 29th September – fingers crossed the ground is in her favour!
From Me To You put in another good effort at Wolverhampton on Thursday, breaking well but running on the wrong side of the course (pace came down the near side), meaning he could only finish sixth.
Redbud Sixteen has come out of her Newbury race well and the handicapper has kept her on a mark of 85, which Charlie is pleased with. He plans to enter her for races at Newcastle and Newbury in late October.
Lord d’Or continues to go well at home and trainer Andrew Balding has given him an early entry in the Old Rowley Cup Handicap on Friday 9th October.
Magic Runner is entered to race at Wolverhampton on Tuesday 29th September, where trainer Ruth Carr is optimistic she should be able to run well and give her owners a good day out!
Denby’s Dream is entered to race at Bath on Tuesday 29th September, but will need a bit of rain in order to run as the ground is not currently ideal for her. Fingers crossed for some rain!
Red Spirit continues to do very well with his work at home and Andrew Balding has been impressed with him. He is hopeful he can make his debut in the coming weeks all being well.
