Horse Updates 29/11/25

Wendigo delivers an immense performance to win the Grade 2 John Francome Novices’ Chase at Newbury.

Handlethekettle is walking nicely, increasing his exercise week by week. He will be rescanned in early December, to check how he is progressing. Jamie is happy with him.

A Path To Ronda has had an easy week since her good second at Exeter and remains on track for her target at Haydock next month.

Jukebox King is very well and impressing at home, he is looking and working better than ever. He will have a racecourse gallop which should set him up nicely for his debut under rules.

Legendary Luke has had an easy week since his great win at Ffos Las – he has been down splashing in the river, hacking around the bridle paths and is now back into some easy cantering. Jamie is considering a return to the track around the middle of December.

Pigeon Forge continues to impress Emma with her attitude and is building her fitness nicely.

Brodie’s Boy delivered another strong performance at Wolverhampton, finishing fourth, only losing out by three quarters of a length. He has come out of the race well.

Blackwaterfoot is very well and enjoying his break, the spots on his legs are healing.

Unknown Journey is in good spirits at home and has come out of his Lingfield run well.

Love You Millions is enjoying her holiday and Charlie is pleased with her physically and mentally.

Lucky Luna remains on walking exercise and trainer Richard Hannon plans to give her an easy time over Christmas and start back riding her in January.

From Me To You continues to build up his fitness, ahead of an exciting flat campaign in 2026.

Rory’s Gold is on his final week trotting and will begin cantering next week.

Redbud Sixteen is enjoying her holiday, looks very well and has put some weight on which Charlie is pleased with.

Bosh Soldier is doing better each week and is making good progress ahead of her return to the track.

Lord d’Or was reassessed last week and is healing slowly. He will be on walking exercises for another month before the vet examines him again to determine his progress. 

Karthon is currently recovering from a small tear of his suspensory ligament, which doesn’t appear to be a long term issue. He has moved to Emma Lavelle in the hope of becoming an exciting dual-purpose performer, where he will be running in two mile hurdle races.

Magic Runner is very well at home. She is entered at Wolverhampton on the 1st December.
